#Blogher15 - What I Wore - Comfortable & Chic Conference Clothes

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

13 days later and I feel like I am just now getting back in the swing of life from #Blogher15. lol! I could not wait to do this post on conference clothes, and share what I wore while learning and socializing in NYC for the BlogHer conference. I was MY kind of comfortable and that is what was most important to me, just being myself and if that's a little over the top for some I am totally okay with that. lol! First impressions are formed in just 7 seconds and while packing for the conference I didn't want to overthink anything, I just wanted to be 100% me. So here goes:

Tot’s Comfortable & Chic Conference Gear

DAY 1 - NYC Bound

Airport Bound in this beautiful Akira Maxi skirt and this tank bodysuit by BooHoo! The denim jacket was a wonderful addition as it can get cool in the airport and it added a cute casual touch to this outfit. Both pieces were very stretchy and comfortable, perfect for maneuvering through a busy airport.
Once I arrived in NYC, I was able to toss the denim jacket and be cute and conference ready. This was the first night where there were plenty of meet and greet parties and I was very comfortable but still photo ready!

DAY 2 - BLOGHER15 READY!
Day 2 was the first full day of the conference! We are talking 8am -7pm so being comfortable was very important.
I found this super cute polkadot top at Forever21  & this neon skirt at H&M (size 12 might I add!)  I paired this neon and denim combo with these super cuter and classic heather gray Lacoste tennis sneakers.. I scored these at DSW for $59!
Clearly I was so excited to be there!!!! WOOHOO!!!

SelfieStick chronicles :((((( lol!!!

My adventures on the Orange Blogher carpet continues.......

DAY 3 - Final Day of Blogher :(

Day 3 the final day of the Blogher15 conference! My goal remained the same to be cute and comfortable while snapping pics with my conference besties, connecting with brands, and soaking up so much helpful information. I went for structured skater dress from Asos and a Forever21 pointed toe flat, oh I can't forget the super cute metallic belt from Asos as well. (I added an insole for comfort in the flat)  I was popping in my pastels! lol! At the end of the evening there was a huge closing party in NYC for the Blogher conference attendees, so I had to switch to a sneaker for even more comfort.
More Selfie Stick chronicles :(( lol!! I was trying to capture my shoe change and red lip as I headed out to party!

More Orange Carpet fun!!!

I spent much of my time in the hotel for the conference but I had a moment to walk around a bit and found this!!! LOVE!

Night Out on the Town  - In NYC in my Chicago Jersey ;)

I'm not sure why this picture is so small :(((  I was invited to a premiere party for a new show coming out called The ComeBack Kings, the show features Ed Lover (Yo! MTV Raps), Black Rob (Whoa! Former Bad Boy Artist), Treach (Naughty By Nature), and 90's artists trying to make a comeback! The party was amazing and I was able to see the first two episodes of this scripted reality show and it was hilarious!!!! It's nothing like partying with NYC locals, just a good time. I was even able to snag a few pics with Ed Lover and Black Rob and they both were super cool and chill the entire event.

This jersey I actually scored at Marshall's in the kids section for $12!!! lol! I thought, Why NOT?!?! It was perfect for packing and it made a bold statement while in a NYC party. I cut up an old pair of jeans and tossed on my sparkly Louboutin Pigalle's and was on my way.

Just a little red carpet funners!

The moment I put this pic on Instagram I was getting calls, texts, messages and etc! This uber cute "Chicago" chain is from TopShop and my XOXO necklace is Betsey Johnson.

Heyyyyyy Black Rob!

Hello there Ed Lover!
:)

My final night in NYC and I was headed to just get a slice of pizza and look what I ran into
..... H O P E!

Until next time NY! :)
