Well, we are in the 3rd month of the year and the final month of Quarter 1 is here. Did you start strong? How you are you holding up? What those Q1 goals looking like??? Don't enter March without a clear plan!!

I've had a few meltdowns but I am scratching things off my list and even if it takes me longer...I AM GETTING IT DONE!!!

As we enter March, I look back on February with a thankful heart. I did not complete every goal but I am aggressively pursuing my goals in the name of Jesus and I know that’s what truly matters.
Here's a snippet of goals accomplished for me:
1. I wanted to not only take photos for #SundaysWithTot, but I wanted a blog post for each photo with links. My blog was suffering but I set a goal and I am aggressively going for it. (Even writing this during my lunch is proof that I am serious! lol!)
2. Another goal was to not only complete but release my first digital product! OMG! I still can't believe that my workbook is out and 418 people have downloaded it! Did you get yours?? Download here!
1 goal that is rolling over to March is finishing my Feb book. I want to read at least 1 book a month and I am only half way through with my February book. But the goal is to keep it on the list and keep going!
NO GOAL LEFT BEHIND in 2018 is the GOAL! I am excited and prayerful as I enter March. I hope and pray you are encouraged as you pursue your goals and know that YOU CAN DO IT!

As I journey through life, I have to constantly remind myself that I am POWERFUL!! I take situations and make them work for me, even if they are designed to work against me.....I make them work FOR ME! How you ask??
My Aunt once said to me that everything that happens to you is for your good and for God's glory. This blessed me so much and gave me so much perspective.
Take a moment and imagine that to be true. Everything that happens to you is for your good and for God's glory.
This statement is based on:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
As much as I don't want to be identified by certain things, they are a part of my life. Instead of waiting to be what I consider to be my best self, I found purpose in my broken self. I found power in my broken state. Too often many feel empowered when they have it all together, but there is something so special about moving in a broken state. It gives us the opportunity to see God perform true miracles.
I never planned on being an overweight divorcee who's baby died shortly after birth. I didn't ask for this life.
Divorce: I wrote about it, learned from it, and empowered others along the way.
Losing Farah: I shared my journey and encouraged fellow Angel Mommies as God encourages me.
My weight: I found the most fly clothes for my size and found a passion for fashion that reaches beyond curvy women.
I could be embarrassed, depressed, lost, or even so focused on the future that I miss my opportunity in the present.
God continues to use my brokenness for my good and for HIS GLORY!!
Say it with me again...I AM POWERFUL!!!
Challenge!!!!
I challenge you to find the most insecure area in your life right now and find a way to be empowered in this area. Discover a way to support others in this area. It doesn't have to be public. Find a private way to see God through it all!
Here are five ways to locate POWER in your brokenness:
- Journal the journey
- Volunteer with organizations
- Locate a support group with others like you
- Get a counselor
- Pray!

Let's talk being fearless in fashion!
To be fearless in fashion is to simply do something with your style that you normally wouldn't do. One of my goals is to constantly challenge myself with my fashion. As much as I enjoy my signature style, I enjoy stepping out of the box and being fearless. I love it so much that I encourage my friends, family and even my clients to find moments to be fearless in fashion.
This beautiful Eshakti dress has me feeling super fearless! I am typically a bit more modest in my dressing but when I received this dress from Eshakti I decided to be totally fearless.
Every time I get dressed I want my personality that God has blessed me with to shine through. Although this dress was my typical silhouette the cleavage was a bit more spice. It was my take on being fearless for this #SundaysWithTot.

I recently watched a video where a celebrity showed love to one of their followers on social media. As I watched this video my heart leaped out of my chest. This guy Jake left a comment on Will Smith's Instagram page and stated: "How does it feel to get 2 million views? If only I had one shot to save the world." Will Smith went on his Instagram stories and shared the comment and urged his followers to go and show Jake some love! OMG! Seems small right? Well, I was sobbing!!!! I instantly thought about how Will Smith has probably become accustomed to huge audiences. He's been in the spotlight since he was a teenager, 2 million views on an internet post is nothing new to Will. But Jake...Jake wanted to share more. Jake has a voice, and wants to be heard! He left a simple comment on a post and went about his day. But I know that God had plans for Jake! God wanted to show Jake that people still care. God wanted to show Jake that he mattered. Will Smith was simply the vessel of obedience in this moment.
Why did this touch me so much??!!??
I started to think about a few things and was moved to write this post! What do I have that someone else would love to have? What do you have that someone else would love to have? I urge you to find a way to give someone something today. Something that you are just used to having, something that you barely blink at because it's a way of life for you. Give it away today. That post made me feel so FRESH! It gave me a fresh perspective on my blessings! It gave me a fresh perspective on giving to people. No matter how small, I encourage you to use your platform responsibly and I pray a fresh feeling of gratitude for you reading this right now.
My prayer for today is that you feel overwhelmed with gratitude by giving back to someone in need. May you feel fresh and new in life by simply paying it forward. You never know who needs that moment!
